Teaching & Learning

Galstaun College provides an education journey for students from Reception (or pre-kindergarten) to Year 12, and follows the NSW Educational Standards Authority (NESA) curriculum, leading to the Record of School Achievement (ROSA) in Year 10 and the Higher School Certificate (HSC) in Year 12.

Throughout this journey students are engaged and challenged to become critical and creative thinkers and are provided with every opportunity to thrive academically, socially and personally, both inside and beyond the classroom. 

Primary: Transition – Year 6

The journey continues from Transition (Kindergarten) to Year 6 where students enjoy a nurturing and warm learning environment in which they are taught the necessary foundations to be effective learners.  Read More

All students from the Reception class to Year 10 are engaged in the College Armenian Studies Program.  Read More

Reception Flying Start Program

Galstaun College offers a pre-Kindergarten class for children of 4 years of age that follows the Early Stage One program and is differentiated to allow students to achieve age appropriate outcomes.  Read More

High School: Year 7 – 12

The High School program offers students a rich and diverse curriculum defined by subject choice and flexibility. Throughout High School students are engaged and challenged to become critical and creative thinkers in a disciplined and supportive learning environment.  Read More
