Pre-Kindergarten at Galstaun is a pre-kindergarten class for children 4 years of age. This early entry into the learning journey for children introduces them to the foundations of literacy and numeracy and follows an interactive and play based program.
Students benefit from early socialisation and the understanding of basic routines associated with a school day.
All staff in Galstaun’s Pre-Kindergarten program are Early Learning specialists and qualified.
The Pre-Kindergarten class follows the Early Stage One program and is differentiated to allow students to achieve age appropriate outcomes.
Students in Pre-Kindergarten benefit from facilities within the College and parents have the convenience of one drop-off and pick-up for children.
Since its inception, students who have enrolled in Pre-Kindergarten have gone on to achieve outstanding NAPLAN results, reinforcing the effectiveness of the College’s Kindergarten program.
